Welcome to Aston on Trent Preschool

We provide high-quality preschool care and teaching for 2-5 year olds in Aston-on-Trent and surrounding areas. Our staff are highly qualified and experienced and are dedicated to supporting and nurturing our children, preparing them for school and ensuring they have oodles of fun at the same time!

We also provide wraparound care for 5-11 year olds, who attend Aston-on-Trent Primary School.

Based in the Aston on Trent War Memorial Hall, we are open 7.30am - 6pm, Monday - Friday.

We are a friendly, community-focused preschool where children are encouraged to be themselves, have fun, get messy, ask questions and explore the world around them. We believe these early years should be full of curiosity, kindness, connection and wonder, giving children the time and space to learn through play and discover what makes them unique.

At the heart of our preschool are our values of Community, Communication, Curiosity, Kindness and Resilience. We encourage children to build friendships, share their ideas and feelings, wonder about the world around them and have the confidence to try new things.

We take the time to get to know every child as an individual, celebrating their personality, interests, strengths and achievements along the way. We want children to feel that they belong, that their voice matters and that they can be proud of who they are and what they can do.

Our days are full of opportunities to explore our local community, meet new people, get outside, be creative and follow the children's interests. We love those unexpected little moments of awe and wonder — the discoveries, conversations and experiences that turn into memories.

We are proud of our close relationships with our families and our place within the Aston on Trent community. We grow together, learn together and make memories together, giving every child the confidence, curiosity and love of learning to take on their next adventure.

Our Living Advent Windows

In 2016 Aston on Trent started a Living Advent Calendar, where windows are revealed everyday in December.
